the ect power button just holds the gears a little longer so that you get higher revs.

Remaps shift points. I can't explain it, but even if I'm in 6th gear going a steady speed, I feel a difference when I toggle that switch on and off. The pedal seems to get touchy, but it's more than that. Anyone else notice this? It's more than the power of suggestion...I've had others riding in the car with me confirm. Well, we could ALL be crazy, I guess...

Your pedals are more sensitive and your car become aggressive. Aggressive acceleration and aggressive braking, during braking your car will automatically downshift itself on ETC mode. Doesn't hurt to turn ETC when racing.

Well it depends on where you are racing. If it's on the streets maybe before you race you should think about the other lives you're putting at risk. JMO

Who cares? Just do what you will. It's all about driver skill.

From the little I know, I would say:
-Turn on PWR (with ECT button).
-Let it shift for you (because it will anyway, even in S mode, if set to a high number, and if set to a low number, you are not better than it)
-Turn TRAC off (so it won't limit power due to one wheel slipping).
-Leave VDIM on, because it won't affect much (except save you from yourself).

That sound about right, guys?

Don't forget to be old school.. Turn off your AC and roll your windows up!

All that extra wind entering your cabin doesn't make that car anymore aerodynamic.
