Glitches with voice command system
Has anyone found a workaround for the following really annoying glitch (or, as Lexus would probably call it, "Safety feature"):
When I am using the voice command system for anything (manually entering a destination, turning the temperature up or down, or entering a phone number to call) and a slow down to stop at an intersection, the voice system shuts off and erases all the previous info that I had put in.
So, lets say I am getting ready to go on a trip and I want to vocally enter the destination into the navigation system. I say the state, city, street name and I am speaking the final street number when I have to stop at a red light. As I apply the brakes and get under 10 mph, the display jumps to the forward mounted camera display. When I accelerate again and it returns to the map mode, its as if I didn't enter any info and I have to start from scratch.
Its really frustrating.
