I was wondering if anyone has tried installing the remote start? I didn't know about it when I bought the car and now am thinking about getting it. I found on hybridcars.com that they are selling the OEM Remote Start accessory from Lexus. I emailed the store and they said that it should be installed by a mechanic or the dealer.
I would like to understand how difficult it is to install it.

 

I work for toyota and the factory kits are usually plug and play but sometimes you gatta tap into a power supply and they want you to take it to a dealer so you dont short anythingout but it shouldnt be so hard

 

Thanks.. I am debating whether I should buy it online and have the dealer install it or purchase it from the dealer and have them install it.
