Default HS250h Loaner...Gross

Getting an oil change from the dealership and they gave me a HS250h loaner...

I've never driven a hybrid, but I this thing is terrible in every aspect, if you ask me. For about the same price as an IS, i dont think the mileage difference is worth it, either. Just my $.02, and i cant wait to get my IS back after work!

I believe this is why Lexus can sell the IS and HS at the same price and still sell lots of cars.

Both cars cater to different consumer populations.

One is made for sport. The other is for technology.

The HS is just not for you. But if you check the numbers, the HS is selling very well. Even more than the half-priced Honda Insight!

lol, too bad your all the way in Texas..

I think if the dealer gives out IS-F for loaner cars, it will really persuade me into trading my 350 for one.

I'm an ISF owner, but I really like the HS. Sure it's not for everyone but it is a good all around car.

Considering we are mature adults here, I think the comments being made are a bit out of line.

Well given the average age of IS owners, I think its expected lol. We need to have more respect for other Lexus owners, and other models. Plus I dont see what the IS has that makes other models so gross or crap, its a 40k car, its not some super high end exclusive vehicle.

Apples and oranges. If you have an IS350, huge difference in terms of power. With an IS250...probably not as much. I had a loaner 250, and was amazed at how damn slow the thing was.

A friend of mine has the HS, and it's very nice. It's larger on the inside than the IS, the materials are great, the seats are comfortable, the new NAV screen is fantastic, and the thing is smooth and quiet.

I bet if you didn't know the car was a hybrid you wouldn't have hated it so much. I'm betting you pretty much decided you were going to hate the car before you ever drove it.

Lacked power, style, ergonomic design... Yes, I'm 23. So my opinions differ from other age groups, i can imagine. Either way, they could have done better...Hybrids dont have to look like hybrids. A face lift would really help drive the market.
