Default japan allways got somthing going on

Well everyone, here’s another bright idea for the HS 250h. In Japan, they’ve got this car modified to the max. I’ve included some pictures as proof.

This part is called the Absolute Center Brace. Here’s the description:

(By replacing the factory reinforcement bar attached to the floor transmission tunnel, this brace enhances body rigidity and improves steering feel. By reducing body twist, it dramatically increases stability and cornering response. It also helps reduce body vibration, resulting in a more premium driving feel. Made from duralumin A2017, it’s gold-anodized for rust prevention.)

So my question to you guys is: does this really work? Does it actually do all that? Because if it does, I’m definitely placing an order.
And believe it or not, that’s just one of the many upgrades they have for the HS 250h in Japan. Too bad we don’t have access to these parts here in the States.

How much does this thing cost? How much more for delivery and import duties?

I doubt it would make much difference on a car like the HS as it is not known for exemplary handling performance.

Plus they are all pretty darn old by now and the rest of their suspensions are likely in need of updates that may do more for handling than this brace. .

It doesn't seem like it would make a huge difference. I was imagining 2 big stiff swaybars that were very wide. This is a short piece in the center...

Yeah, you might be right it does sound a little too good to be true. I was just curious, that’s all. I’ll keep browsing to see what other mods I can find. Thanks again, everyone
