Default Flooring the accelerator, hs250h

Is it OK to periodically floor the accelerator on a hs250h, as to help blow the carbon out ? It feels like it's not even going past 4500 rpms even when it's floored all the way.. If you do this frequently, do you risk harming the engine or making it burn oil increasingly due to extra wear?

The only risk of flooring it is, in these older cars it's possible your acceleration performance far exceeds the handling and stopping performance. You might end up out of control.

There is no way flooring it will damage the motor if it's got oil in it.

OK, sir, thanks 4 letting me know! I only do this when there are no other cars near me while merging onto the expressway. So, when other cars do this, (where I live in chitown) I smell all sorts of build up being blown out, so I'm hoping this does the same in my most-of-the-time 👵 granny-driven hs250h 😹

I floor mine almost every time I drive it as I am used to my RX350 and BMW and it cannot accelerate fast enough to risk any loss of control or damage the engine. It is terrible for gas mileage as I get maybe 30 mpg due to my terrible habit, my wife does much better in this vehicle with her more relaxed driving style. We don't drive it much anymore, it is more of a spare vehicle that sits around with a solar battery maintainer.
I would just check the engine oil more often.

Even when floored, the hs250h seems like there are a ton of governors (drive by wire) and "artificializers" to keep the car tame, so I am gunna floor it on the expressway and ramps, because like the one other guy said in the lexus forum :"if you don't floor your car, it's like having a hot girl and not f'-ing her" (all the time?) LOL 😆

I also like to run sport mode as it improves throttle response a bit although the vehicle is not much faster, it responds quicker to the angle of the gas pedal. It also increase the battery contribution to the electric motor a bit. And it makes the steering quicker and more responsive.
