Turn the car on. Hold the shift lever to the left (NA model) for 3 seconds.

Start a thread for this.

Get a scan tool to read codes on the car.

you might also search for and download the crash/towing/disassembly guide published by Toyota. It may explain a mechanical override for neutral gear.
