For those who are looking for latest price on Lexus platinum extended warranty, I got mine 7/75k for $1655 from Troy. Mine is 2005 GX with 39k miles. He also has 7/100k for $ 2145.

Thats a decent price.Does anyone know if extended warranty prices vary with different models? We just bought a 2005 RX and the dealer tried selling us an extended warranty at that time.He wanted almost $2600.

Yes, it various by model. I remember seeing RX around $1200 for 7/75k. Not sure on $ but definitely cheaper than GX.

Yes its a Lexus warranty, Lexus is the same as Toyota.

 

I also bought one from Troy for a 03 GX. I have used it once and it was great!

im from NJ, and i got my gx warrantied from troy last week. I was quoted 2900 from lexus of englewood. Troy took care of it.

 

interestingly I just got a call this morning from a extended warranty broker. my 05 with 55k is out of warranty. I wonder if I could still get some thing from a lexus dealer?? (Apparently Lexus informs them of recently expired vehicles and owner contacts)

Anyway, the best deal that the broker offered was a 5yr, 100k additional miles, $100 deductible from United Car Care. The price =$2830.
Anyone know about these guys? 100k additional is nice if you are keeping the vehicle long term... But price seems high to me.
