I'm in the process of selling my IS 500 and was at Lexus dealer today. Interested in the GX 550+. They do sell at MSRP with a bit of a wait. Is this model under an engine recall? If so, why is it such a hot item?

 

We are ordering a Overtrail+ this month. Delivery will be probably around February so it will be a 2026 and at this time no engine issues I’m aware of. I suspect most (like us) feel that Lexus will stand by its product regardless along with providing a loaner if needed. And yes, it will be priced at MSRP because of supply/demand. Our dealership shows several new available, but they are always spoken for. Off lease Lexus Certified are also hard to come by, but it is still early for the platform.

 

2024 and some 2025 models are under recall. Those built after said date are not under recall. My dealer has 12 people ahead of me on the order list. Still a hot item depending on your area and market.
