Black Emblem Overlay PIO

Has anyone tried to remove the black emblem overlays? They are coming on my new OT+. But since it is Caviar (black) in color, I’d rather have the chrome so that they stand out more. Wasn’t sure if they could be removed. Thanks!

Uhg, grinding off a $200.00 PIO option? On mine hoping they stay installed since they are "taped".
