Hello fellow GX550 owners, for those of you who have the trim with flush rails on top (primarily premium/luxury trim), what crossbars have you used, and has anybody tried the generic brands that are sold on Amazon such as these from fenqing-y:


I’m just looking for simple crossbars that ideally create minimal wind drag and noise, just to put a roofbox on top for skis. Thanks!

 

I ran down this rabbit hole and ended up with the OEM Lexus crossbars. There was not an option from either Thule or Yakima and I didn't feel comfortable with the cheaper options from Amazon. The other option I think that is available is to remove the flush rails and install the Over Trail rails.

The Lexus crossbars are great, they create no wind noise UNLESS you pop the sunroof up.
