Just got my GX550 lux+ - Very nice car. As expected. It is my 2nd lexus - Does anyone know how to reset the MPG . Dealer is lost . And I am struggling to find how to reset MPG.

 

on whichever screen that is showing what you want to reset, you typically long press the middle button on the directional keypad on the steering wheel. Could be different, but that's how it's worked on the last several cars we have owned.

You can reset it via the infotainment menu. It wasn't too difficult to find.

Is it me or are settings menu navigation the weakest point on this vehicle?

 

Quite a steep learning curve, I feel we should be able to do via the controls on the steering wheel. Lot of hunting around. My 1st vehicle with this much tech.

 

Any on have roof rack installed from factory on 2024 GX

Agree. Resetting MPG and trip time not easy or intuitive. Only appears to be accessible on infotainment screen and not via steering wheel like in other Lexus models. Also agree more settings should be accessible on steering wheel. No MPG instant/historical numbers. Infotainment is decent but requires steep learning curve. I wish there were more buttons and ***** for basic AC and radio tasks.
