Lightbulb Interior Views with Panels Dropped / Additional Sound Proofing

Looks like owner is installing additional sound proofing throughout vehicle. Some really good shots of areas opened up for other reference purposes as well.

I don’t understand why someone would do this to an already quiet interior. Seems like you would create more issues with fit and finish issues.

awesome pics to see the behind the scenes of our interiors.

Looks like he's trying to make it quieter. From a google translate of the page:

Secondly, this creaky balalaika ceased to rattle and creak. The truth remains one cricket in the trunk, we localize and beat a little lower. There is a suspicion that this is my favorite third row of seats so creaks.
Thirdly, the cabin has become much quieter. There is of course a bit of noise from the engine and front arches. The motor does not soar, on the contrary. But I'll take care of the arches.

"total cost of work and materials amounted to 42,000 rubles. All work was done in the car noise "

42,000 rubles = $661.72 as of 1.31.2020

seems like a good thread to add this too... in case you have any door panel squeaks (like where you set your left elbow on the driver side door) this is the solution:

It would be interesting to see some tech equipment used to measure the decibel (sound level).
Give me a before and after with the pricey and labor intensive sound proofing/deadening mods.
