Default Rear Chrome Bar Removal?

I had sprayed my rear chrome bars surrounding the license plate in black hyperdip, but I think I want to wrap it in vinyl instead. Could anyone guide me on how to remove those two pieces for easier vinyl application?

If it's anything like the GX470, it involves disassembling the rear hatch from the inside to access some fasteners on the inside.

Take off the rear barn door panel and a couple of screws of memory serves me then it pulls off. It really isn't too intensive.
