Lexus GX Allocation Process
Can someone explain the Lexus allocation process so novices like me can tell when dealer's people are lying. Some say they have no choice, but many of dealer's cars have the same options which are different from other dealers. One dealer says they have a lottery process for sales people, so when you get on the list, your salesman must win the lottery, or it goes to another salesperson who may have just got an offer. Makes you wonder if they are just not creating a bidding war. Any insights would help.
Are all Lexus dealers this bad today. I just placed a deposit on a 460 and within an hour the the dealer raised the addons from $1895 to $5300, And of the Lexus dealers that I interacted with, they always have another salesman ready to get a deposit from someone else. Yes, this dealer was in the northwest. I have purchased a GX before without these kinds of issues. Has Lexus lost its reputation for honor and service?
Go to Lexus of Seattle in Lynnwood ... they do not play games like Lexus of Bellevue. Call them any say you are done with the "Bellevue Games" ... and will go out-of-state to avoid this same BS ... they will hear you and be straight-up.

I’m down in south Florida so this isn’t much help but I just purchased my second GX from the local Lexus dealer. No add ons , no fake window stickers, no market value adjustment. Coming from Toyota’s it was a shocker at first . Toyota dealerships act like they’re doing you a favor and treat you like you’re a moron with no financial common sense.
I'm trying to buy, with no luck. I've found 4 GX's countrywide that match my spec. The only one who will sell to me out of state wants $5K over sticker. The others have perfectly good cars on the lot but won't take my money.

2022 or 2023 Premium with Sport Design Package and Captain's chairs, heated wheel, (in order) silver, grey or caviar exterior, and ecru or maybe sepia interior. (Silver/Ecru strongly preferred.) A Luxury model with the Sport package would be OK, but I don't need all the off-road options.
I'm in CO and will be titling it here, at least until I can buy a place in FL. That'll be a year or two out, though.

I tried to work a deal with those guys this morning. They sent me a spec sheet, and went completely dark after I expressed obvious interest. I'd love to talk to them.
