The best reason to get a 2023 GX it will be infinitely more reliable and cheaper to maintain than the next 2024+ gen.

Default Premium Plus w/sport edition v. Luxury 2023 GX

I want to get a new 2023 GX before they quit making them with the V-8. I am torn between a Premium Plus with Sport Edition or Luxury. Both are caviar. The Premium Plus has NuLuxe black interior and the Luxury has red leather. Just wondering if anyone has a luxury with red leather interior and how does it look compared to the NuLuxe on the premium? Also, can anyone give some feedback on how they like the air ride variable suspension on the luxury? I do pull a car trailer some, so I’m thinking it could be nice for that. I had a new GX in 2005 that had the air ride suspension and loved it as I recall. Then I traded it for a new 12 that did not have it. Then I got a 17 that did not have it. So it’s been so many years now, I have forgotten how the 2005 really was. I assume the 23 air ride suspension would be better than the 05? Basically, I am trying to determine if it’s worth the extra $6,000.00 to get the luxury over the premium plus sport. $66,800 v. $73,000. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill

Except the air suspension and semi-aniline seats, are there any other differences? What about 360 view camera? Lexus says the luxury has auto-leveling air suspension, does that help towing?

I doubt anyone would notice any difference in ride quality. I had the luxury but i did not go for the air suspension. I went for the leather seats because I simply did not know how to take care of Nuluxe. It was also because i wanted a bench 2nd row and premium plus all came with captains’ seat. I could get the color combination I wanted in a luxury. I do not tow with the GX so I have no idea what the air suspension has to do with that.

The $6000 price premium for the air suspension alone is too big to me, if you do not care other things and if it has nothing to do with towing. The sport package offers zero value to me but it is a relatively inexpensive package.

Not sure of all the US spec changes in the Luxury, I bought our 2021 specifically for towing a 4200 lb travel trailer, the self leveling air suspension works good, in Canada our top of the line GX is the Executive, which included the air suspension, ML stereo, transmission cooler, leather interior, rear seat entertainment, and cool box, all combined, worth the extra cost IMO

Yes the only real difference in the two is the air suspension and the leather interior. Although, I will like both of those additions, it’s a steep price to pay. Thanks for the responses!

I owned a 2021 GX Luxury with red leather interior and I thought it was a very classy combination with red seats and black headliner. The seats weren't too bright and weren't too dark either, just the right color hue IMO. The smell of the new semi-aniline leather is hard to beat with the NuLuxe. I drove the loaner GX with nuluxe seats and wasn't impressed with the cabin smell. The rear air suspension is specifically there to aid with towing, but it's the adaptive suspension that I liked the most. It helps with driving off-road (comfort mode makes rides much smoother and cushier when driving on unpaved roads) and while cornering at higher speeds and driving on twisty roads (sport mode really tightens the body roll and overall feeling of stability). Just my personal observation. I always tend to buy cars fully loaded in order to experience the most of what the model has to offer. I also tend to keep them for a long time. Prior to my 2021 GX I drove a 2008 GX470 for 13 years. I wanted to initially trade my 2021 for the 2023 GX to get the updated infotainment, but ended up trading it for a 2021 CPO LX570 because the dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse...LOL

Thanks for the detailed response! Very helpful knowing you liked the red interior and the upgraded suspension. Sounds like the different settings on the suspension will be a big plus also. Starting to lean toward the luxury now!

Default Any recommanded dealer for gx 2023

I am interested in purchasing a 2023 Lexus GX 460 and I am looking for the best price. The last chance for V8...
I would appreciate it if you could recommend any dealer except Seattle area who could provide me with the best price.
Lexus dealers in Seattle are really hard to negotiate.
