It sure happens in TX bro! I'm trying the best I can to keep my 21 GX far away from those construction trucks that are everywhere in DFW area! Hopefully $150 will do it. Have a beer afterwards!

Thanks man! Think I’m over it. My OCD will subside. I am **** about all my vehicles, both cheaper and more expensive than this Lexus. This is the last vehicle that I didn’t sweat scratches on……..

First, I would take too pdr shop and remove the dent then take it to the Lexus dealer to touch up it cost 60$ at mine to do it and they gave loaner. What ever you do don't claim on insurance since the carfax will be dinged. Over time the gx hood will have lots or rock chips since its new i understand but mine started to get chips at 20K miles and after that i stopped caring since it came with it's hood size.

Hate it for you especially in such a short time. I'm on my second Lexus and added the ding & wheel protection on both during purchase. We've used the ding claim twice, and the wheel 4 times. My wife says the curb keeps getting in her way
Anyway, really good looking color combo.

I would also recommend a bug or hood deflector installed to further protect the hood. After i installed, I see lot of bugs got hit right on the deflector, otherwise it could have harmed the hood. cheap insurance.

The driver seems to be cool and I do not see any road in front.

Today, I found out that my car has two scratches. I don't think this will buff out as it appears to have reached the primer. The clear coat seems to be a single thin layer. I wonder why Toyota and Lexus paint are so thin. Cost savings?

Oh, well. I know there will be more of this. There are just too many careless, ADHD kids that go to the same taekwondo school as my kids that don't pay attention.

Not even my vehicle, and that is making my OCD flare up.

All of the paints these days are water-based. Gone are the days of thick enamel.
