Default WHEW, that grill and wheels

What a workout! Just got done washing and ceramic waxing the ‘21 GX. The grill and wheels are very labor intensive to clean and protect. I have the 19” grey wheels and all the spokes with the nooks and crannies. I guess I’ll be in the market to change to plainer 5 spoke wheels when I go to replace these tires. Just venting!

We got our 2021 GX Executive in August and have already hand washed it 5 times. I need a short ladder to reach the roof, I use a foam cannon, a Chenille Wash Sponge and a Chenille Wheel Brush similar to this
Amazon Amazon
, makes washing a lot easier.

Guys, into the 10th month of ownership. This rig is large and I have always hand washed all my vehicles. Just can’t take my vehicles to a drive thru wash. The only saving grace is the Atomic Grey paint. It hides dirt and dust really well.

Pressure washers are such a blessing. They get 90% of the crap off, and are good enough for a quick rinse if you need it to look presentable in a flash. Pro tip: Spray some multi-purpose cleaner on bugs and let it sit for a couple of minutes before spraying. Never deal with bugs again.

I usually use a pressure washer and then hand wash with a microfiber towel. Quick and easy. Washing my F-350 service truck this way only takes an hour.

Good call on the pressure washer. Got one but only used it once on the car. Might have to get a foam cannon and hook it up.

They are indeed.

I just got my first. It's a Kranzle K1622TS and it is awesome! I'm still waiting on the MTM PF-22 foam cannon and SGS-28 gun to arrive and I'll be in business.

I used it to just rinse of the MIL's Yaris quick and I'll never go back to hose washing again.

Pro tip....

Watch your circuit breaker amperage ratings when choosing a pressure washer. The Kranzle K1322TS has more flow, however, it will pull 17+ amps with a foam cannon and will trip a 15Amp breaker. The K1622TS has a little less flow, however, it only pulls 11.5 amps with a foam cannon. 1000psi is perfect for washing a car.
