Nothing on my '10. I had it set that one press of unlock will unlock all doors. Not sure if that
makes a different. I heard unlock click when I pressed it twice. But the third click did nothing

Since I'm not the only one, I'll document the whole procedure when the cable arrives so it can be shared here for those who are interested.

What app do you use with the 2011? Mine is a 2013 and I didn't think it supported apps.

Carista phone app. Not a GX app.

Make sure you get a cable with firmware 2.0.4. The 1.x cables won't allow you to see live engine data.

Thanks for the info. Just cancel the order and will look for the new version. 👍

Yeah... been there... vendor was certain it wouldn't work but that is what gave me live data. You can also reset TPMS sensors and view live air pressure in tires. I'm running a 64-bit version of software on an old Windows laptop I had sitting around. It also allows for an easy way to get navigation into diagnostic mode without having to toggle the HIDs. You could also view the TPMS IDs if one wanted to order pre-programmed sensors for another set of rims (winter set for example). No need to look over the shoulder of your tire guy.

Looks like I'm a bit late to cancel the order. I'll see if it do what I need when it arrived and will get the new version eventually.
I found an old XP laptop with 32 bit. Does the new 2.0.4 work better with 64-bit or the same?

That should work fine for a laptop & OS. The cable you have on order should work fine for customizations stuff. You will likely run into communication errors though when you get into engine troubleshooting or live data areas

About 8 minutes in to see what program looks like.

I have a 2013 GX460, what cable do I need? And does it come with the software or do I have to get the software separately? How does this compare to Carista?

This is similar cable to what I am using. It will arrive with software as well. This can troubleshoot all systems attached to the CAN bus. Confirm with vendor you are getting a cable with 2.0.4 firmware. The 1.x versions were fairly limited in what I could do with system, gave me errors and couldn't do live data. Tread lightly as you can make the car do things from a diagnostic perspective it won't normally do in operation.

A number of videos on Youtube how to use Techstream.

This one if you FF enough gets to the meat of TPMS.

Thank you! That's quite a bit more than what's being sold on Amazon. Maybe those are the older ones that you are talking about?
