Looks like fun! Have a blast. Dunno about Florida, but here in Socal the trails will be Jeeps, 4runners/Tacomas, and then Lexus in that order (GX or LX) -- they are very common out here for off-roading...

Those Yokohama Geolandars were pushed to their very limits. Very, very impressive.

 

GX comes with the V8 too.

 

That's a blessing and a curse, though. We mainly have the V8 for the smoothest of power deliveries while moving a much heavier truck. They have lighter Prados and diesel option. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm just saying that it kind of evens out.

 

Great point. Base Prado do have what you expect in a base model. Lighter truck overall good enough for the smaller engine.

Great videos. We moved to SD last summer and have yet to really explore the desert. Have a new GX in the stable as our reliable off road rig. Will stay bone stock for the time being as it’s my wife’s vehicle. Lots of ideas for exploration in our GX. Thanks for the great vids and subscribed to your YouTube channel.
