Default Panoramic View Addition

Ok, I'm sure this has been asked many times. I will be searching the forums, but want to start asking while I researched. I just bought a new 2021 GX460 and after having it for a little bit really regret not ordering a Luxury trim with the Offroad Package to get Panoramic.

Regardless of cost, is it possible to just order all the Panoramic cameras, any other parts needed, and just install them? Does the OEM Premium head unit support the feature?

This is my very first post, so be gentle. I've just jumped into the Lexus world and will be starting all my research to build this out into a world exploration platform.

Thank you all for the advice and guidance.

Unfortunately, it is not as simply as you might think. It is not part of the hear unit, rather require the completely different ECUs. Additionally, the wire harnesses will also need to be installed. Then, all the calibration and setup involved, In reality, the costs will be MUCH higher then it will be equipped as the option. The alternative solution will be install after market 360 degree option.

Sadly, I had a feeling it would not be that easy. I guess I'll live with it. The feature really is on a "want" not a "need".

Now I'm kicking myself for not just ordering a Luxury model like I first planned.

White it is true that there are a number of ECU's that would need to be replaced and programmed to make this work, I don't think it would quite peak the ~$11,000 premium that the Luxury GX trim commands over the base and premium trim models.
That said it wouldn't be worth the headache. Id look into an aftermarket camera system, and maybe upgrade the stock headunit. No matter what, it would be an endeavor. Congrats on the GX, theyre like a luxury tank

Thank you everyone for the info. I do love the platform so far. This is going to be a fun process. Drinking from the fire hose at the moment.

Here is a pic as I first saw it at the dealer.

I am impressed the dealer put on the Toytec lift, wheels and tires or did you do the upgrades?
Looks great.

That was all the dealer. They wanted to see if it was something they wanted to start offering. Since they worked with Toytec and did the install, they are going to honor the normal warrant on the all the aftermarket parts.

I would have bought a new 2021 GX regardless of this lift, but this really made the deal easy.

Also, I see you are in CO. This was the Stevenson Lexus on I-25.
