Something went terribly wrong when installing ARB Compressor.
*sigh*
Hey guys, I was hoping my first post wouldn’t be troubleshooting a screw up but here it is.
When I finished installing my ARB Compressor everything seemed to work fine. The switch would light up and the compressor would turn on. Red/yellow tapped into P/OUTLET slot and blue tapped into PANEL.
However, when I went to start the vehicle it whirred but didn’t turn over. A soft whir was heard when it was shut down so I unhooked the battery to make it stop. That stopped it. Upset, because I must’ve gotten it wrong; I then disconnected the tapped in fuses and replaced the fuses in their rightful spots. I unplugged the compressor and the switch to see if the GX would start but I still get the same whirring.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just picked up this vehicle last month. 2018 GX460 with 25k miles.
Yeah, the battery is good. When I go to start it, all the lights flash like it’s possessed...then stops and the check engine light stays lit.
Guess I’m going to go get a code reader.
I was installing accessories and had the door open for a while and I drained the battery enough that somehow the high beams started flashing on its own. I tried starting the car and it didn’t start. I hooked up a jumper pack and it started up with no issues. Try jumping it.

I’m hopeful it’s only a drained battery. I have it on the trickle charger now. Never seen a vehicle react that way about a fading battery though.
