I was looking for a Husky, Weather tech, rear cargo mat, but paying $80 to $120 For a cargo liner is just insane, fortunately if you don't want to pay the "Lexus" markup there is an option. The Lexus GX shares its design with the, foreign, Toyota Prado 150. If you go on eBay looking for a Prado 150 mat you'll find the markup similar to an FJ or 4Runner. The design looks identical to the GX cargo mat in photos, so I pulled the trigger and ordered one from China. I'll let everyone know how it fits when it gets here.

Its not an overpriced name brand, I've had weather tech floor mats in the past and they've been great but I just don't see the value in them when i can get something just as good for less. I'll see how durable this Chinese, Prado 150 mat really is. Pretty sure it should work fine. I'll make sure and post if this was a waste of money or not
This is not a WT or Husky replacement. It has it's purpose but not made of the same material. It is made of that harder foam material. I will take pics tomorrow. I will still use it for situations like transporting some used oil or such where I don't want to tarnish the WT mat in back.
Hmm...Tempting, even if I don't yet have a 150(Although I signed up thinking I would research the 120 vs 150) Have you seen this one though? It's a little bit pricier(For a lack of a better term) but it has raised ridges which is something I like when carrying mulch/sod bags, etc.. But yes, I'll check back for them pictures
** Never mind, I went back and clicked on the OPs eBay link and it has the raised ridges as well. Yeah, a fail on my part.
It says it is made of a blend of Polyethylene (PE) and Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). I guess something akin to an exercise mat.
If you leaked oil on this and given enough time it might soak through. I also see some abrasion that occurred on side during shipping. IMO: If you do buy this set expectations low and think of it more as a temporary mat you use in the back that can get roughed up and you won't care... frankly not sure how durable it will be roughed up either.

I just got mine too. The material is foam like, I seems waterproof. I've put random items on mine, in an attempt to get it to flatten out, it came rolled up. So far seems to be pretty good quality, like Acrad said, a Husky is probably more durable, but for $20, who cares.
Here's a pic of the mat. The fitment is spot on, it just needed some time to flatten out. As mentioned earlier, its a dense foam material with a rubbery surface. I can see how it could get scratched or scuffed easily, however for $20, it does it's job and keeps wear and tear off of my carpets, looks to be waterproof. Overall good buy and it seems to keep my factory carpet from shifting around as well.

I was gonna do a waterproof test on mine this week. One spot that it might seep through at is where that metal tag is located in lower right corner of mat as it perforates mat all the way through.

mine arrived today from China - remarkably fast given that I ordered on 12/24 and we’ve had two holidays in that time.
I made the mistake of putting the mat in the car immediately prior to a long drive and about an hour after it arrived. The off-gassing odor was pretty strong and actually gave me a headache. I definitely should have let it air out for a few days before putting it in the car.
the fit is pretty good and for $20 this is a good value for a basic utility mat. I put a piece of black gorilla tape over the label to prevent any seepage where the metal clips attach the label to the mat
