Planning on doing fluid film or Krown treatment in the next few weeks and was wondering how you guys get your rigs in the air. Is the job doable with ramps? or is it a PITA?

I use the highest capacity Rhino Ramps ... made of high density plastic, so they do not rust and typically do not slide when driving up the ramps, unlike many metal ramps that slide while making a horrific sound. Whatever brand you purchase, the more important consideration are Jack Stands (as a secondary) that should always be used with any ramp choice as a safeguard in the event of ramp failure. ANSI certifies legitimate Jack Stand brands for their capacity rating ... so my strong recommendation is to NOT purchase from Harbor Freight (as an example) given they sell "mystery brands" labeled as "Pittsburgh" that are not ANSI certified ... great pricing, but safety is not a place where savings should be a priority.
I've been pondering the quick jack myself..some say they're of limited utility (eg. hard to get under the car, mostly good for suspension/brake work). It is on sale at Costco this week for $1250.
BlueOnyx - Did you find you need the truck adapter kit?
This may very well be a quality product, but with a 7,000-lb rated capacity ... and the GX460 weighing 5,500-lbs ... that's 78% loading, and the product is not ANSI certified or by any other reputable (neutral) certification party. So unless one is diligent in using ANSI certified Jack Stands as a secondary ... this product does not have enough upside capacity for me to crawl underneath with any level of confidence. Getting crushed to death would not be an enjoyable experience.
ASE - Are ANSI and ALI related? Or is ALI considered non-reputable? I believe that Quickjack has ALI certification. Pardon my ignorance.
ALI is supported by ANSI. Cannot find anything on the Quick-Jack as to certification(s). If achieved, any manufacturer would have this (symbol) plastered all over their web site.
It is showing certification July 2020; maybe this is a recent development?
Why they would not have this plastered all over their web site is amazing ... should not have to go on an Easter Egg Hunt to find this important information. The market types are clearly too busy playing golf.
Rhino ramps and Jack stands here too... perhaps what makes working under the Gx most tolerable is the lo profile crawler I picked up off amazon... slide in and slide out... makes undercarriage maintenance super easy, especially for a job like fluid filming where you're under there for 2-3 hours moving around. Prevents me from having to take advil... for achy knees elbows hips etc.
Yes, get the 12,000-lb ones ... I have two sets for putting the vehicle completely in the air on the tires (with Jack Stands as backup) ... the Rhino Ramps nest into each other for compact storage.
I have been using 2x10 (42/36/30), put them into a 3-step setup. giving me about 6 inches more clearance. It is a bit tricky to drive on top steps. Otherwise this is perfect for my routine maintenance on GX. You can get this from HD for like $20 and they can cut it per your spec. I also put on 2 wheel locks diagnally to be safe.
Mine does not look as good as below one though, but it is same idea.
