#CV #Boot vs Full #Axle Replacement
At this mileage I would only replace the boots for both inner and outer.

If it is under warranty they should replace the whole assembly of course.

Because the OEM is typically better quality than the remanufactured or aftermarket ones. There are also many complains about aftermarket axles not fitting or being poor quality so it is a risk. I did the same what you suggested on a different vehicle when I did not have time to mess around with the boots. I just threw Cardone remanufactured ones in with plans to redo the boots on the original ones when I have some time. That Cardone is still there 100k miles later and the original ones are sitting in my attic. I'll probably redo the boots sometimes so I have a spare when I need them.

I was in and out of the dealer this morning. The boots are not torn or damaged, but they are allowing the grease to escape.
L-SB-0030-21 service bulletin applies. Boot replacement kit is on order and I'm going back next week to have the work done. Under warranty of course.
Others may want to see if their GX is exhibiting this problem and see if the bulletin applies to theirs.
