Default Automatic Window Disable

I just installed a set of in channel vent visors on my 2010 Base. The Drivers window goes up and stays no problem, the other three go up, hit resistance and go back down. In fact, I think the front passenger window doesn't go up all the way before it comes down half way.
Is there a way to disable this feature? Otherwise, I'll just remove them and send them back.
Thanks,
jaaydee

It's a safety feature to prevent injury. Cannot be disabled.

I was afraid of that. I wonder why the Drivers Window went all the way up? Is it not on the same safety feature?

Sensitivity of the sensor, placement of the product obstructing that path, who knows exactly.

You can reset it so it see if it helps. Roll it all the way up, then hold it for a few seconds to reset.

I tried holding the switch up, the windows still do the safety thing.

What I did after I installed WeatherTech was roll it up by slowly nudging the up button and not using automatic roll ip. Then when it’s all the way up, don’t let go of the button but keep holding it for a few seconds.

I tried that, it will go all the way up, then automatically come back down. I tried holding the button, it will still come down.
thanks for the tip, I tried.
So if anybody wants to try them, I'll make them a good deal!

FWIW, have you tried leaving the vents in the sun for a few hours. Then install, bend it out a bit, put the window up and then letting it sit overnight.

If you end up returning the in channels, there is a seller on eBay that has stick on versions that work really well! They are half the cost of weathertechs at $50 and do serve the same purpose.

I will keep that in mind, I'm afraid the car wash will rip them off.
