I test-drove it during daylight and glanced on the driver side mirror and saw the film on it and that was it for me...how the heck was I supposed to know they stripped it from a pax side mirror??? LOL does this make a single iota of logical sense?
Oh and their salespersons don't know half the things we know when we go buy a car! Any question - they run to the brochure and look for it! I asked if the fog-lights were LED and he had not clue...I asked if the headlights were auto-leveling, he had no clue, I asked him to start the car so I can see their movement...he had no clue they did that! LMAO!

Exactly, so now you either have to be that super annoying person who asks a barrage of questions about what would seem to be obvious, or you risk finding out that what you bought doesn't have what you thought it did.
I guess you could also just look to buy 1 or 2 year old versions going forward, that way you have time to read the boards and find out if anything has been stripped.
hi guys, i traded my old 2014 gs 350 f sport for a new 2021 white ext/ bk int. gx 460 premium pack (power side mirrors, tauneau cover, captain 2nd row seats, heated steering wheel, headlight washer) with sport package (red tails, dark 19" wheels, heated steering wheel etc.. ) gx was stickered at 62k and some change and negotiated down to 56,300 or 56500 i believe (don't have papers in front of me). Did i do ok on price ? i saw pre owned 2020 and 2021s are close in price by 3k or so. So far i love the car ! i don't have ml audio but stereo sounds good to me

You did good...here in Dallas area they sell like hot cakes for full sticker, dealers don't even respond to negotiations...I got my '21 Luxury negotiated down from $69800 to $64500 because it was a manager's demo car with 1600 miles on it, otherwise it would have been sold for full sticker price.
Is there any info on the 2022 yet or a sense of when we will know more about it? I'm curious to know if it will finally get Apple Play / Android auto....and if it uses the current head unit so owners can buy the parts and upgrade instead of using some third party solution...
I own Gx in 2012, I love to get get back to Gx again with 2021 model.
I'm planning to go through costco program.
I'm wondering if the latest model is:
1. Is 2021 model is more quieter ?
2. does it has remote start ?
1. The 2021 model has acoustic glasses for the front seats, so it should be quieter. The 2020+ appears to ride better too. They also improved the brake feel in a sense that you won't have to push it all the way to stop.

The remote start is free for 1 year per the Lexus App. However, I'm uncertain if that's just via the app only since you can technically do the same thing with the key fob.
Can someone share their experience on 19" vs 18"? How is the ride, local/distance? Is cruise control updated? I see it says "adaptive cruise control". Is it like the RX? Thanks.

GX radar cruise is still the first gen adaptive cruise control, it is not like on other LX line, does not provide full speed, nor stop and go function. It will keep the distance as “adaptive” but only available about 25 mph or so.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it would be updated. Cruise control on RX is much nicer and smoother. I watched
and noticed when he was merging to freeway, the RPM went up very high. Did they change anything or he just hit the gas very hard? I don't get this reaction unless I switch to S and keep the gear low.
