Interesting... is this common with all of the bulbs not using external resistors? I've been concerned with heat as resistors in-use in another vehicle get "hot"

I toyed with some inexpensive sequential switchbacks using a 9v bsttery. the always on white light didnt match. I was going to wire the turn signal only. I ended up damaging them and gave up. i just wanted to share what they looked like by the turn signal.
