As I have stated in my post, the engineering and build quality seems very good. The package is also looked very professional, much like the OEM products. Since it is fairly new, and just been installed. Will have to see how it perform and hold up over the time.
You COULD always run a thin bead of silicone around anywhere that could possibly allow moisture to creep in, but they're already installed and look great... Not worth doing unless they actually start to leak. Nice to see a good looking alternative to the dated stock taillights.
Thanks for posting video - super helpful. These look awesome. Could you get a video from a little farther back with the brake lights on and off? Do you think they’re just a bright (and just as noticeable) as OEM?
How does the waterproofing look?
Here is a distance clip for the lights, specifically for the break lights effects. I think its a perfect match with center break light, and similar style and intensity like on NX. (phone camera's auto iris didn't do very good job for the intense lights. Actually effect is more visible even in bright day light).
Pictures can be deceiving, but I appreciate having some gap on the factory tails so I can slide the chamois under there and eliminate water running down the paint after I think I'm done washing the car.

How is the picture above deceiving to you? It is clear the gap is bigger than what OEM is. To each his own but you are one of few who don't mind this gap.
Wow! That actually makes a big difference, thanks for sharing. I ordered the taillights yesterday but then got an email today requesting an additional $59 payment...smh. Explanation said it was due to COVID-19 but it didn't sit right with me. Either way I requested they cancel my order and issue a full refund. I will try again later this year.

What kind of business do that? After making the payment, they should be committed. I just noticed the also raised the price of taillights online.

I got the same request too. It appears an automatically generated email from fright forwarder they are using. I did made a complain and they should have updated actually shipping cost on their web page. But ultimately, I did paid $59 to avoid further delay. For what the I am getting and quality of initial impression, the overall cost is fair to me.

Interesting! I was looking at their website last night, the price was still $299. They must read this forum and anticipate there might be a growing interests on the lights.....
