Default Angled Flat USB Cable

Has anyone found a angled flat USB cable flat enough so that it can stay plugged-in and be able to close to cubbie door, by the shifter? Searched amazon for couple of hours but no luck.

I think the problem eNx is referring to is the base connection doesn't allow the door to get past it. This changed on the 2014+ and I can close the door on my 2011.

Bought mine on amazon. There is a right angled usb connector that plugs in and still allows the sliding door to close

A few examples below ...

You need a "90-Degree USB Type-A Male" connector on the one end to eliminate interference with the sliding cover, and a Flat Cable so the sliding cover closes without being lifted (by) and pinching the (round) cable.

What connector do you need on the other end ??? The latest Android phones are typically USB C and Apple phones are a Lightning connector.

I use this one https://amzn.to/2V39heK and it has worked out great. It routes through a hole I drilled out under the center console and ran to my glove box. its an extension cable to keep a clean look up front then I have a longer iPod cable attached to it

**edit and you can close the door with it. that was a determining factor for me too. I used to keep the iPod in the cubbie but chose to drill out a small hole, add a grommet and route this extender down the hole and in to the glove box

I just bought these for my iphones. Will see how it goes. I like the extra length on them.

I ended up ordering this one
https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charger-Compatible-Samsung-Nintendo/dp/B07PFHB3R4/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=USB+C+angle+flat+ribbon&qid=1582137973&sr=8-11# https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charger-Compatible-Samsung-Nintendo/dp/B07PFHB3R4/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=USB+C+angle+flat+ribbon&qid=1582137973&sr=8-11#
, since I have USB-C. I really like you're 2nd link but all of them are micro USB to USB A.

This will go on my phone that it's mounted on the vent. I don't really mind that the cubbie door is open while I'm driving. I just wanted to be able to close the cubbie, when I leave, and keep the cable plugged in.

Preferably.. I want
Flat Ribbon
Angled Down on USB-A end.
No angles on USB-C end.

Thanks, All.

The lightning cables I got are similar, soft nylon braid instead of rigid.
I couldn’t find any flat ribbon cables either.

I keep this compartment open. This way the lid stays scratch free and trying to worry about a clutter free car that is my wife's dd is a thankless and endless task... She's always squirreling crap in different places... haha (I do like the options shared though... good stuff)

Here is how I set mine up. Used the angle USB from https://amzn.to/2SNvOuv and routed through a grommet. I then have an iPod (old school click wheel one) plugged in on the other end tucked in the glove box
For charging I have a wireless charger or I also put in 2 USB 2a in the glove box, and another pair for rear passengers.
Clutter free and no wires visible any where
Don't mind the dust, been busy and its cold in Colorado
