I finally was able to see a new GX with the red interior in person. The armrests and center arm rest were a darker red than the seats. Was this a fluke? I liked the armrest color better then the seat color.
I just want to be sure this normal, too bad, I was looking forward to the red...

 

I see similar threads on the IS and ES forums saying the same thing. I guess Lexus sources their parts from multiple vendors ....

 

We are buying one with the Rioja Red interior. It has not arrived at the dealer yet. The one on the lot with red did not noticeably have that issue. We will be looking for it when it gets here.

 

Please let me know. the one I looked at was very noticeable.

 

The armrests are vinyl.

Are the seating surfaces leather or vinyl that you’re referencing ?

 

All of mine are the same shade.

did you get your GX and was the interior all the same or was there difference between the seats and arm rests?

 

We can't see any difference in the Rioja Red leather seats and arm rest on the Luxury model.
