Lightbulb #side #window #shades

Does anyone have good recommendation for side passenger window shades? Would be like this for the Rx: https://www.autoanything.com/windshi...car-sun-shades

I am not having a lot of success with my search (except some really cheap universal ones) and seeing if anyone has had some good luck with what they are using.

thanks for the help!

Window tint is not an option for your needs?

No unfortunately. We have tinting, but the sun here (especially in CO and how dark you can go with tint) is still pretty intense for my son in second row. Our MDX has a factory option that you pull up out of door when you want it and my BMW has auto ones that do same thing. They are super useful...but the GX options seem to be the super generic ones and wondering if anyone had found a good solution.

Find a place with Ceramic Tint film. Will totally change your mind on the tint film regardless of blackout percentage. If the shop is smart, they will have a heat lamp for you test the different films on glass slides. You will immediately feel and see the difference with ceramic film tint.

x2 on this suggestion. The sliding sunshade on my BMWs panoramic roof stopped sliding and the heat was intense sometimes. I had a dark ceramic tint put on the entire sunroof and even on hot summer days there is no heat through the glass.

Default Percentage of color tint.

I only use what Florida allows for the front window max, 30% tint. I have the whole car done in that. Since the rear doors and backward on the GX are already factory tinted in the glass, the 30% adds plenty more, and the ceramic keeps the heat from transferring through. Down here that tint job without a front strip runs about $269.99. I just had this same job completed on the wife's new RX350 F Sport this past Tuesday. I had regular tint on our MDX when we purchased it in 2007. When a window went bad on one front door, the tint guy showed me the difference on a ceramic demo slide. I had him install the ceramic that day instead on all the windows. Its all I have installed now on the cars.

I bought these from amazon for $55, it didn’t have any reviews and was shipped from China, just got them today, but so far, so good.

“lfotpp GX 460”, it took about a week to arrive, but was exactly what I was looking for, for the little one.

Also, I didn’t use the clips with double sided tape that was included (didn’t want to possibly damage the plastic trim finishes on the door if I want to remove the clips later on).

it stays on well without it, wedged in at the bottom and magnetic on the top and sides.

these look almost identical to the one I bought on amazon, the ones on amazon are less than half the cost. Still working good after 9 months, they have stayed on good, have not fell off.
