This is the second time during a lightening storm this has happened. On the second time the side mirrors crackled and burnt and the TRAC light, check engine and 4 wheel drive lights came on and gas peddle would not gas. The previous dash board warning lights issue had been in the shop and fixed under warranty. Please help with the mystery. FYI- I was not in the car either time and the car was in two different locations.

Yes you have heated exterior mirrors, I know my 2011 has them. The warning lights could just be a short when the heating element is bad or shorted. This is all just a guess, the next thing to do is see if there is any stored error codes.
