if you look at the repair diagrams, theres an order they go through. For lexus the order goes to replace the throttle body first then the module, but for the same exact problem on a toyota the order is to replace the module first. this can be because sometimes the failure is a drift of component values, when the tb goes one way and the module goes another. then replacing either one can fix things. this isnt for all failures but for some.
another issue is that the module can be covered for more time/miles because it is in the federal emissions list while the tb is not.

Dealer said they don’t do the intake cleaning thru the throttle but rather thru an o2 sensor. So I doubt they clean the MAF if that’s the case. I cleaned that as well and it didn’t help percent the P2111 code.

So as far as I can prove this part straight up failed at 82K. $800+ fix if you let the dealer do it.
My 2013 is doing the exact same thing. How hard is it to replace? I see throttle bodies online for about $200.

I was in the middle of the White Rim trail this weekend and got the P2111 code. 2010 with about 80k miles on it. Same flashing lights as the OP. It got me worried because I still had a lot of dirt road ahead of me including some more technical parts where 4 low was needed. At idle it was revving up and back down continuously. I cleared the code and turned the engine back on and it hasn't come back on again for over three days and I was able to drive out fine. It does seem to have a slightly rough idle as I'm deaccelerating to a stop sign for example. I'm going to give it a good cleaning this weekend and hopefully it doesn't give me any more issues. I'm seeing them for about $200 online too and they are pretty easy to replace.
