I have tungsten pearl with black leather and I wish they offered nightfall mica, deep sea mica or black sapphire pearl(all dark blues) in 2011, those colors would work with black, sepia and ecru. I also wish Lexus offered a dark brown color that seems to be popping up in Mercedes, BMW and Acuras. As someone stated on this forum before, Lexus doesn't offer enough colors for both interior and exteriors.
When I bought my 2015 White/black last year, it took me 4 months to find one that checked all the boxes. I ended up spending more and got the car from out of state. There were very few with black interior in SoCal where I was.

Fire Agate Pearl too light (not my '12 in linked ad) ? I never thought I would own a brown colored car but really liked it when I saw in person. You have to see one all cleaned up in the sun to fully appreciate it. I have one of the rarer black interiors for that color. FAP was introduced on GX in '12. Black interior was only '12-'15.
This is why I jumped on a Nightfall/Black '17 I found in Portland... flying up on Saturday to pick it up...
Wow Portland?!?! Are you going to drive it back down here? Please let me know what the process is like to get it registered here. Make sure its a 50-state legal vehicle!

I have a very strong feeling that I will end up spending more too. I would simply rather not have to get one from out of state though.

DMV will collect CA sales tax when you attempt to register in California. Yes, no sales tax in Oregon ... but ...
Also, it's bad to throw a new car on the highway and drive at a relatively constant speed for an extended period. Best to put about 1,000 miles of mixed driving on it before heading South.

It's a dealer so the dealer is actually collecting the tax. I get to CA, get a vin verification+smog done, send that to the dealer, then they complete the CA registration paperwork.
I know CA always finds a way . This is probably the 5th vehicle I've bought from out of state.

Fire Agate is sweet, my dark brown request was for the leather interior. Sepia IMO isn’t dark enough and almost has a pinkish tone.
