With my GX work truck I’m actually OK with the rear fixed side windows, I could however use something like this on my rear side door windows that I occasionally hit... Also while I live in a low crime area there is a recent problem with people at grocery stores and restaurants that get a smash and grab so this would help my concern.
I would have a broken window but hopefully no loss of contents.
Oh, I just remembered I have the glass break detector (if it works from the rear) along with an air horn that will blast....Geez, l am looking for burglar bars now
I'm still waiting to hear back from Victory, but my only concern is this one potentially blocks the storage cubby on the driver side. I had it in my cart about to order and noticed that it comes down to the armrest level.
I would think that there's enough space to unlatch the drivers side cubby door and lift it up and out to gain access to the contents. It definitely won't swing freely outward.
Yeah..I wonder how hard the jack will be to take out?
I appreciate your thinking this out prior to the need for a jack, but when was the last time you needed the jack? [This doesn't count needing to get to the fuel door release lever because someone removed the fuel door fuse and forgot to replace it...]
Someone actually pulled that fuse on your GX? Never looked if this was on a shared circuit.
Yes. Can you believe it? (WTF was I thinking?) During the wiring of the F/R dashcam install. It's on it's own circuit, BTW. Fuse is in the big panel under the hood, top right corner as you lean over the fender.
