Default Digital Dash?

Hey guys, First time posting!! I have a 2016 GX460 and I went exploring on AliExpress to see what I could do to update my quickly aging car. I found this for the Prado: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Liis...0-24ff6885c2fe.

Would this be able to run on the gen 2 GX? Just wondering if you guys had any idea.

Thanks!

Very interesting product. Here are couple of question that I would ask: a) does the unit compatible with imperial unit of measure? 2) language support? (from picture, it is displaying in Chinese). 3) the front bezel is made for Land Cruiser which is not compatible with GX, however, if the LCD panel is the same height as original GX cluster panel, and with the same mounting holes as GX OEM cluster panel (which is possible as same with Land Cruiser OEM cluster panel), it maybe fit and still using the GX OEM bezel. Those are the key areas to consider.

That’s pretty...but i am just afraid of a glitch or something and your whole dash is black.

That seems very interesting. It has a lot of good information on the dash such as getting readings for the tire pressure and a constant display for outside temperature. The reviews have not been that good. I hope they get better on the quality. I would add it to my GX 460.

That's the risk from those manufacturers. Assume if the back end harnesses was exactly the same as Toyota Prado (I would assume), the fitting will be an issue by judging from two cluster houses. GX cluster areas compare Prado is a bit taller and narrower, Also, the curved glass is part of the meter cluster assembly, even if the display area will fit the current GX opening, there is a question if you can transform the class housing on to the digital display in order to fit back into the dash. The Prado cluster is a bit easier because the kit come with the replacement bezel to fit the dash. I haven't seen much on the market for those regions where Prado was marketed had actual replaced it and had any REAL reviews yet. No Prado in North America market and won't expecting to see any here.
