I actually created this graph in Google Sheets from the exported CSV file.

Here are the sensors I am using in Link. It shows up in Fusion in the same spot as well under Network E --> Air Suspension

So I happened to drive on the same stretch of freeways for about 8-10 miles so I did some capture of Normal and Sport (Comfort will be later when i drive back. Lol). This is using OBD Fusion Log graphing.

The time slice is about 5min for N and 10min for S. This section of freeway has alot of dips and really uneven as you can see in the graphs especially at S where it stiffed up significantly when going over dips and such.

Sport Mode. A lot of dips during this stretch. Speed around 65mph

Normal Mode from the other direction of Sport mode. You could see N mode is really adaptive when hitting dips and uneven surface.

You guys are really making me feel great about having the Adaptive Suspension! NORMAL mode it is for me all the time then. (I don't drive fast around corners anyways; but i guess that if i did, then the Normal mode will have me covered.)

Next project/request for you guys.......when you shift into 4-LO, then what does NORMAL mode do?

Here are 2 more graphs.

The first one is Comfort mode and I drove almost exactly the same route as Normal mode above. Ignore the first part, the app for some reason stop responding for a minute or so. The flat top at the end was when I exited the freeway and waited at the red light. I stopped the graph after this.

This in Normal mode. The route is almost exactly as in the Sport mode from the previous post. One thing I noticed in Normal mode is when you hit the rumbling section at speed and the shocks oscillating very fast, they kinda go into Comfor-ish mode, especially for the front (red and green) around 210 to 230 interval. But as soon you hit a joint and it jolted, it went into Sport mode.

Thanks for showing the sensors for the dampers. I didn't even know you can graph that. There are quite a bit of stuffs to graph now. You can do the speed vs fuel usage too

Damn, so the NORMAL mode actually reacts pretty quickly to road conditions!

Kind of ironic I have avoided it all this time.

Plan to use it the full way when I goto my cabin next weekend.

It definitely takes care of a lot of the manual comfort-to-sport switching I have done in the past. I tested going into 4L today but didn't notice any changes in normal mode. It was just a short test though and a rougher off-road course may better show changes. I need to see if bags are adjusting at all when in any setting and going into 4L or CDL.

Ok...so these adaptive shocks can adapt on the fly. If i were to put on BFG KO AT2 (for example) with 12 lbs heavier unsprung weight at each corner, then does the shocks adapt to the heavier tire? In other words, will its parameters change? For example, before it was at step 7 (random example) over a section of the road. But with a heavier tire, then the shock(s) will now be at step 4 because the shock are deflecting more over every bump in the road (due to higher unsprung weight)...thus heavier tire may trick the system into thinking that the bump are larger/rougher and thus shocks act accordingly??

If so, then this is great for us. A regular shock stays constant...thus bigger tires = rougher ride. But with adaptive suspension, then your ride should stay same or almost same??

there is a subtle differerence in the suspension settings, but overall not much.
Imho all these shocks suck.
I want the live valve technology from fox shock. Its on the ford f150 raptor and it makes a big difference!
Toyota start putting fox shocks on some of its trucks, but its badly needed on the BOF by lexus!

IMO.. .it would probably start out in the same steps but dynamically adjust to account for the heavier tires as detected by various sensors for vibrations and body movements...within limits of course

Interesting differences with Eurasian models for height and speed when HI mode reverts to Normal. IIRC... it is like 18-20MPH when US Models resume to normal.

Well, after 6 months of ownership and testing back and forth between the modes, i am now in SPORT mode all the time. Not harsh at all but at the same time, minimal head toss over bumps.
