I have 33 K miles on mine but I usually still replace them every 3-4 years. Its been 4 years exactly today.
I can feel the grooves on the rotors on the edge and notice rotors are worn down.

Your symptoms sound like warped rotors or bad pads. I tell people its a waste of $ to resurface a rotor - buying a new one is cheaper and better.
I Would just replace the pads and rotors in front and that should solve your problem.

On my previous GX (and several other Lexus) I used Centric Premium rotors and Wagner Thermoquiet ceramic pads.

I actually think that combo is better than the OEM gear and way cheaper. Also doesn't leave all the nasty black brake dust on your rims.

 

I need to change my Front and Rear rotors, as brakes are pulsating when braking. Any good recommendations what to go with ? I was not very impressed by the OEMs and looking for something a little better comparable in price.

What would be a reasonable cost for all four wheels brake pads replacement and rotor resurfacing at Lexus dealer ?

Mine is a 2012 Premium GX 460 with nearly 40,000 miles. Last service was back in 03/2018 at my local Lexus dealer when it had 35,215 miles on it. They inspected and defined both front wheels was with yellow code. The left rear wheel also was with yellow code and the right rear wheel was with red code.

They recommended me to have all 4 wheels pads replacement and resurfacing the rotors. I asked for the cost for that service and they gave me an estimation of $1,100-$1,200. Would that be a reasonable price ?

Keep in mind, any service done at Lexus dealer will be paying the primer price. So, it all comes down to how you define the "reasonable". If you compare all primer brands dealer cost for the job, such as BMW, MB, etc., it would have be considered reasonable. But, if you can have independent service provider to do so, or even do the pad by yourself (which is reasonably easy to do), then there will be a huge cost difference. It's all depend on your comfortable level. I am sure there are many members on this board would like to have Lexus dealer to perform all the services, which is nothing wrong and willing to accept the cost of doing so. After all, it is a primer band vehicle.

 

Centrics and Akebonos all the way around will be about $350 delivered. You can get kits $<200 but I don't have experience with those. You can literally save about $1,000 doing this yourself in 1/2 a day. No one will care more about your vehicle than you, I've found a few things here and there that dealers do that have caused me to always do all the work myself that I am capable of.

 

Yes, by "reasonable" I meant if a regular auto shop does the job for like $600, I would not mind to have the Lexus dealer does it and charges me $900. But I do not think that is worth it to have the dealer does the job and charges double price.

Jobs are done by the dealer do not always mean better than a regular auto shop. I have a Honda 2004 Pilot and one time I had them to replace the cabin air filter when the car was with about 45,000 miles on it. A couple months ago, I bought the filter and changed by myself and I was shocked to discover that it was original one that came with the car when I bought it brand new at that Honda dealer. They NEVER changed that filter but cheated to charge me.

 

 

Check out PepBoys if you have around, i did my rear brakes last week actually, paid $210 with tax and labor for ceramic brakes.

 

Is that price for replacing the rear brake pads and resurfacing the rotors too ? Was this done on your GX 460 ?

I just slapped new OEM pads on when I did brake job last year. Still great brake performance and no side effects. I will replace the rotors on next brake job.
