I have been a Lexus fan for some time and with the resent GX sales incentives, it was hard to pass it. My wife always wanted one but because of the poor gas mileage and long commutes, we steered towards the RXs. Thanks for members posting their incredible purchase deals, I was able to find a new 2018 w/ Premium for under $45K (before tax & lic).

GX's cargo area and technology is definitely lagging behind the RX - but we already knew it before the purchase. This is going to be wife's daily driver so probably going to wait with any modifications for now.

Looking to learning new things and being part of this community.

I'm not so lucky in the Nashville area. I contacted the local Lexus dealer and told them I would be interested in buying a GX Luxury with Sport and Driver Support Package if they would give me 20% off MSRP. They said no way. Not even close. Guess I'm still looking for a used one.....

 

Huh. My wife got hers at Keyes Van Nuys about 3 weeks ago. Mine was Santa Monica.

 

I contacted about 7 dealers (living in So Cal we have abundance of car dealers with close proximity to each other). 5 of them were over $2K over what I was looking for. 2 of them were somewhat serious and 1 finally decided to do the deal. This being a month-end might help you with negotiations. Good luck.
