Was it as simple as switching out the console switch beside the shifter ? I watched the disassembly video of the area and am ready to pull the trigger on the part , but I’m dumb and need more clarification. Is there any wiring involved if you have the black and blue wire or is it plug and play (4 screws) and a zero cal only? Super thankful to acrad and all for trailblazing this !!
Remove old switchbank, plug in new one, zero cal with amazon techstream.....hardest part for me was securing the screw that is more forward in car. I have a 2013 premium.
Awesome thanks for that! Sorry if that was repetitive. Time to research amazon techstream. Love the forum members here , much better crowd than others I’ve been around.

I bought this one, I'm sure there's better, and some cheaper...my friend purchased a bluetooth version, think I had to email them for the software key.

to add crawl is just what you posted. It’s pretty straight forward, just take your time.
I'm installing my MTS module right now. The hardest part for me was the knee airbag trim at the bottom. Getting it unclipped is tricky and takes some elbow grease and finesse without breaking anything. Once that's off there's the two bolts for the glovebox behind the trim, one of the left and one on the right. The bolt for the actual module was on extremely tight. It took a 12v impact wrench for me to loosen it. Overall it's a pretty straight forward process especially if you have experience removing trim and tinkering with stuff like that.
Edit: Successful install of MTS on a 2010 base. Order was placed on Feb 14 from Motors Head Japan and shipped on Feb 21. Item arrived at my door eleven days later on March 4th. Total with shipping was $139.73.
While you're there, if you have Break Glass Sensor module, it's a good time to adjust that to level 9 or so.

"Multi-terrain Anti-lock Brake System (Multi-terrain ABS)
The multi-terrain ABS operates in conjunction with multi-terrain select control. This function detects off-road driving in sand, mud, gravel, dirt and so on based on signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, the speed sensor and the ECM, and then automatically switches to the ABS control most appropriate for the current road conditions."
I became part of the MTS crowd today! Install was actually very easy...if you follow the directions. I thought for some reason I could just take off part of the trim and not do the whole knee airbag removal...wrong LOL. once I followed the directions to take the trim off (which pops off very easily surprisingly enough), the rest was very simple. Thanks to everyone for all the work here. I did unhook the battery (not sure if everyone else did or if i needed too?), but first attempt to start the truck was a failure, second time it started super rough and computer did a reboot and the MTS was there (if that helps anyone else).
Now trying to decide if I want to do Crawl or not? I use apple products and I don't think tech stream is compatible? I know I can do paper clip method, but wondering how useful the mod has been? thanks for everyone's help here, great forum!
Congrats. Yeah... that first stall after a battery disconnect happened to me when I replaced my battery last year or so. I have heard others experience as well. Possible something related to reset of the TPS but I can't remember offhand. I know not best practice but I just swapped mine with vehicle turned off. On running TS on an Mac I've heard of people successfully running it on a Windows VM under Parallels. You would have to snag an old copy of Windows XP or 10 though.
MTS is basically variable ratio ATRAC that lets you also run Mud/Sand mode in 4H. You can tell throttle mapping is also changed with the different MTS modes.
Unfortunate they never included this in US as Canadian Executive model has MTS along with the front console cool box, "full length" fuel tank skid, driver side camera which also enable Multi-Terrain monitor and a supplemental air cooled AT cooler.
Those who install these upgrades, have you guys actually tested off-road to confirm that it does what it does?
I have used MTS in Mud & Sand mode in snow condition. And used CC during my vacation, when getting up on a steep hill near my cabin, worked extremely well and confident compare with using throttle and break to try managing the speed and climb.....

I recently installed crawl and used techstream to do the zero point calibration. I also used my MacBook Pro with virtual box running windows 7 64bit. I just searched around and got it all working just fine. I would say getting techstream running on that took the longer than actually doing the zpc.
