Got my switch and module finally. I have an old laptop with Windows XP. Is this what I need in order to do zero calibration?

I did mine with the paperclip method and worked.

Cool. Good to hear. I think you are the first I have heard doing it that method.

It's actually quite easy. I molded the ends of the paperclip so they would fit the 2 pinholes of the OBD port and used some pliers to insert it. I followed the instructions in the "Calibration Guide Download" (section 3, then section 5b) that @Acrad35751 posted (post #1).

I posted this back in March but seeing what guy did in FJ video another option for the OBD method with a momentary contact switch.

Just finished installing MTS a and CC today using paper clip zero point method on my 2012. CC definitely working, quite a bit better than DAC. There’s times where DAC is too slow and times when it’s too fast. Nice to be able to control the speed with CC.

Ordered the switch from Carmarka and and the MTS computer from Motors Head Japan. CC Switch ordered on 5/17/18 and arrived on 6/4/18. MTS ordered on 5/11/18 and arrived on 5/25/18.

I had issues initially with the zero point, but went back and tried again a fourth time. I think the key is to wait for several seconds on the last step as posted earlier in the thread.

Initially I was getting the TRAC light on and no CC. Also when I put in 4LO it was automatically locking the center diff. I use 4LO unlocked for down hill a lot. I don’t like having the center diff locked in those situations. It increases the chance of wheels loosing traction of going around a corner. I’m glad that after the final zero point that this too fixed itself.

Next I want to add the radar cruise control. But that will be much later. I do a lot of long road trips and I think this would be a nice additional feature to have.

I updated FAQ first post with remote start install instructions. Fairly detailed on how to take dash apart. I see a lot of people get troubled by the knee airbag.

Does Matt at OEM have an eBay store? He might sell a few extra With these frequent 15-20% coupons eBay has. From my understanding eBay pays the coupon amount to the seller. Might be a win win situation.

I finally was able to add MTS and CC to my 2015 GX460 using Techstream. If anyone needs help with installs or calibration I can lend a hand. I am in SoCal, between Orange County and Los Angeles

I'm sure it just depends on how long it takes to get the part from their supplier. They sent me a notice on 5/28 letting me know that they received the part and were shipping it out that day. Motor Heads also informed me that they shipped the MTS computer on 5/17.

Well I ordered mine back in March and don't have it yet. What was the part number you received from Carmarka?
