Unfortunately required by law up in my state to have front plates. The target of choice by state patrol and their lasers. Plates also have to replaced every 7 years because of claimed reflective coating breakdown.

Same with CA but we don't have to replace them every 7 years. I've seen alot of lexus, bimmer and other nice cars with plate on the dashboard

Yeah.. I see that here as well... probably wouldn't get pulled over for it but might be an add-on infraction if one got pulled over here.

Went with full hood/front fenders/bumper/mirrors/and headlights. First few pics are of the install and the last pic is the finished product. Looks so much "glossier" now and extremely difficult to even see that it is on until you get up really close. Will post another update once it's been on for a few weeks and absorbed a few rock chips so you guys can see how the "self-healing" aspect holds up.

Next up: Beat Sonic IF-04EP Smartphone kit install.
I am super interested in this SmartPhone install. Are you also going to install a Navigation Bypass? Please take as much pictures and do a detailed write up. Thanks!

If the tail lights are already LED, will you notice much difference if the rear side markers are changed? The rear backup lights looks challenging, is it? I have the 921 bulbs already from my last car.
Replaced the back-up bulbs with 921 LED bulbs and they are not necessarily brighter but definitely whiter. While I was at it, I also replaced the rear-sidemarker bulbs with 194 LED bulbs and didn't notice a big difference. Sort of the same thing as when I replaced the front-sidemarker bulbs with 194 LED bulbs - not a huge difference. Altogether, I have now replaced the following:

2 front side-marker bulbs (194)
2 map lights (194)
2 second-row lights (194)
2 trunk lights (194)
4 door courtesy lights (194)
4 running board lights (194)
2 back-up lights (921)

Not hard at all, but have to remove the plastic cover that has all the tabs... just make sure you don't lose any of them.

Nice!! I need to replace the TV in my entertainment room. It's an old 42" Samsung plasma I won in a Verizon Wireless contest back in 2007.

Same one as DallasDave's post above. I only got 4 but the back gate also uses the same plate.
