HI folks, i recently bought a 2015 GX460, previous owner was french Canadian so he had everything set to french. I was able to change the setting on the multimedia screen to English. But my dash remains in french, does any one know how to change the instrument cluster to English?

 

Press and hold for 1 second the "Menu" button (right side of the wheel, next to the "Enter" switch) to display customization mode.
Press the “ENTER” switch up or down to "scroll" to the item to be customized.
Press hard the “ENTER” switch to confirm
Look in the Multi-information display on your dash
When you see either the "Unit" or the "Language" option
Select and
Scroll up / down to change from French (to Spanish) to English : in my car only Spanish and English.
or from l / km/h to mpg / miles

Have yet to figure out what the Eco monitor means

 

ECO monitor is a passive system that rewards your careful (light throttle) driving with a glowing green reward .
The Drive Mode (on most Lexi except GX ) is an Active system that actually changes how the car Acts, less throttle
response, less HVAC output and earlier upshifts.

 

I have seen some correlation with my OBD monitor that transmission is generally in lockup on freeway when this is being displayed as well

 

I'm gonna turn off that silly ECO light. It's not accomplishing anything useful.
