Just ordered a couple of DVD player monitors to installed on the headrests. What I'm discovering is the lack of a power source for the second row. I mean, no USB is one thing but not even a 12V cigarette lighter plug?
Has anyone tried to tap power source from the seats? Or will it be safer to tap the console 12V cigarette lighter plug?

I have not looked at tapping power from the power seats but this DIY from Jacket should be helpful. He installed a couple of outlets for the 2nd row passengers. You can probably use this as a guide on how you might get power to your DVD players.

I had to power from the back AC plug. It is completely ridiculous that a ~$68K vehicle doesn't have USB or 12v plugs. Good grief.
