We signed the contract on 4/4/2015 for a factory order Base GX 460. However, we received an email on 5/16/2015 from our dealer that stated:

"I just spoke with Jason and he said that the order has been activated. So now we are just waiting for them to build it. We are probably three months out. I will keep you two posted as I am updated."

I was wondering if anyone knows if this time frame is normal for a factory order?

 

Time frame can be earlier, but three months sounds about right. However, I personally would not special order this late in the model year. If it will take three months by the time you get it, the 2015 season is almost over. I would put in an order for a 2016 as soon as I could find the specific details for that model year. But then again, that is me!

 

I have ordered multiple Lexus's for my company and the all average around 4 months from order to delivery, give or take a week or two.
