XM traffic question
I am not sure if my XM Traffic/weather is working. I renewed it on time and all. The little cars icon on the left of the nav screen is not lit up and when I touch it, it moves my location on the map. I know it lights up orange or red when there is a problem but I seem to remember it was green all the time. Can someone who has this activated let me know what color it is supposed to be during normal conditions? I don't want to wait for a traffic jam or severe weather to find out it is not working? LOL. Yep, it's a 2013. What makes me wonder is the interstate right next to my house is shut down and has been since last night due to a propane tanker rollover and it still has given no alert. I did check and a I renewed the service for a year in Dec. so all should be good there. I was not actually on the interstate but passed by several exits/ on ramps going around the wreck and I would have thought it would have warned me to go a different way. Mine icon is just staying white. Thanks for reading and trying to help.

If someone could just tell me if your icon is lit up white or green or not lit at all during normal driving, I would be able to tell if it's working. Do you have to be on an interstate like for the nav display that shows exits, etc before the traffic and weather will work? I hate to call Sirius if mine is actually working. Hella big snowstorm coming tomorrow so I should get some notifications.
