Better iPod interface
Hello all,
I recently (as of today) got a 2013 GX 460 (base w/ NAV), and I am trying to find out if there is a way to get better iPod control than just through the USB port.
Is there any way to get the current track name, artist, etc. displayed in the small multi-function screen between the speedo and tach (not sure what the screen is called).
I searched around in the forums, but couldn't find anything directly answering this question.
Someone talked about installing this: iVic from Vaistech. I'm not sure if that is what is needed to provide this feature (and if it works with a 2013 GX 460).
In my VW, I installed a device from Dension, which allowed the multi-function display to show tracks, and for me to do searches from that display.

Secondly, its unfornate that Lexus chose not update teh multi-information dislpay in the instrumental cluster as it did with the Toyota Prado and LX570. In the meantime, you are limited to the Navigation screen to control the your IPOD.
