Greetings everyone and glad to be part of the great forum,

I have recently purchased a 2012 Gx 460 with NAV unit. However, I can't figure out how to turn on the RDS (Radio Data System) function on it ?! ... checked the manual but nothing is mentioned there on this matter !!

If you are listening to an RDS station it should come up automatically (button on screen). I don't pay to much attention to it.

However, I don't seem to get this button at all even though the stations am listening to are broadcasting RDS !! As am able to get their Program Services on my other cars but on the gx I only get frequency and no station name !!

Any other suggestions will be appreciated ... Thanks

So, after checking the Owner Manual (US models) it does show the RDS function section which is not included in our market (dubai) .. for some reason Lexus is not equipping their GXs with this feature for our market .. quite strange as other manufactures do !!

Naaaaa .... Mine comes with OEM (so the dealer says) Aero-Kit .. Gotta show it to you guys soon .. so that makes us even ..

who makes those for the gx. they have to be aftermarket bumper add ons.

 

Not really sure, but they come factory fitted as per the dealer in Dubai.

 

i doubt they are from lexus. Its an aftermarket item, but i dont understand why not avail in US?

 

Yeah .. it's an add-on kit .. but all Dealers in the my region (GCC) offer the same exact kit .. which makes me believe what the local dealer says here in dubai.
