GX 460 Roof Rack/Bars

That’s exactly the type of stuff I’ll be carrying as well... family hauler with 3 kids. Don’t need one of the $1,500 custom extreme racks (though it’d be nice). My concern with the cargo boxes on the OEM bars was the clearance but looks like you’ve got that figured out. You said it’s fairly easy to put on/take off? Any chance you could provide a link to the one you got on Amazon? Much appreciated
They're super easy to put on. Just put them both on near the front, click the rails in, and slide the rear one back where you want it and then tighten them both with the included tool. The rails narrow slightly towards the rear so you have to squeeze them in the front first. The rear rail won't really go beyond +14" from the back of the rail, which is the stated max in the instructions.
The Yakima rack is also easy if you have someone to help you heave it onto the roof after you put it together. Keep in mind though it does not come with a way to lock it on, so I also purchased the Yakima

I can't remember if this was posted before.

"The K9 Load Bar System from Eezi-Awn is a revolutionary advancement in expedition-style roof management and storage; it is thinner, lighter, stronger, quieter, more functional, more aerodynamic, more durable, and more aesthetically complimentary to your vehicle than the competition. They are powder-coated aluminum with a 8mm T-Slot on both top and bottom for attaching equipment to the top. There is a rear lip on the load bar, making it easy to drill and bolt down soft shell or hard shell roof top tents or other equipment. K9 Load Bars can be fitted with K9 Mounting Rail, gutter mount legs and grab-on feet. "

2018 GX460 - Kayak Roof Rack
Hello All,
New to the GX and recently purchased a 2018 model. Does anyone have recommendations for kayak roof racks? Preferably looking for one that will fit 2 kayaks (if there's room).
Thank you,
Griffin

Anyone here and used the prinsu rack? Any reviews or is it just social media influencer product placement?

No personal experience but seen many on GXOR and even msgs350 has one

A local I sold my other KAON table to save on shipping. It seems like a legit product.

For me, its a legit product that serves it purpose before I bought a pickup (2020 Tacoma) to haul thing..such as Christmas trees, mattress and a Yakima Skybox. My GX is our primary family hauler and its nice that we can load whatever we've needed on it, strap it down and be on our way.
Edit: I just looked up the price and can see where you're coming from, there may be some cheaper racks out there that can accomplish the same thing.
In my opinion, the Prinsu looks best and CBI makes really good looking products (I have their aluminum skid on my Tacoma).
The Kaon table gets plenty of good use as well...especially for tailgating at games or out on the mountains.

they dont make a full rack for us yet unfortunately. I really like their gx470 design..and price is affordable.
They do make a hidden winch for our front bumper though that im debating on.
